Suburban Pleasures
After the last test, (elaborating on it would give someone hypertension so let’s just leave it at that..) first semester is finally over! We were not amenable to going home after a one hour test due to several reasons. This is, as Lea would say the climactic point of the conversation we had which was actually about one and a half hours long.
Joplanne: San tayo?
Xtine: Mall of Asia dw, my dalang kotse c Lea!!
Joplanne: TAGAYTAY TAYO!!!
Lea: Hala!
Rhea: Tara!Zhar: Uwi na ko!
In chorus: Ano k ba! Wag muna!
Zhar: Uwi n tlga ko. Kayo n lng.
(After much pessimism and negotiation about that really spontaneous trip to Tagaytay..we have finally agreed to one thing.)
Lea, Judy, Rhea, Xtine: ANDREW!!!!!!SAMA KA SAMEN SA TAGAYTAY!!!!
Andrew: Cge, tara. Sure na kyo dyn ah?
Us again: OO!
Zhar: Andrew alagaan mo yng mga yan ah.
Omo! Asteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeg nmen ano?
That was the start of a fun-filled day.
Here are some of the highlights minus the fact that we were even more bankrupt than the Philippine government after it was over.:)
*Lea, your driving skills are beyond me. Your car would be forever loved.
*South Super Highway is the place to be on a Thursday morning.
*Gigantic raindrops would eventually stop from falling. Just claim it and it’s yours!-Joplanne
*Seven (multiply that by 2354 and get the square root)- no. of times Lea chirped “Mababangga ako!”
*Wanting to keep Junzi’s table napkins as souvenirs.
*San Mig Light.
*Andrew’s to-die-for lyrics!
*Non-stop picture taking. (read: overutilized peace-slash-V signs)
*Eco-Trail Park! Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! (..more like Putek Park)
*Hanging Bridge!
*The survival of our shoendals! (read: sandals n pinagpipilitang school shoes)
*Akalain mo un! Walang mantas ung palda ko! Swear!:)
*Trying to distinguish the authentic Colette’s from the fake one. “Parang drawing lng dw ung signboard ng isa..hehe!”
*Our wasted-ness while going home.
*Capri, pa-try ng yosi. Hehe!
*Ang dance moves ni Lea sa loob ng kotse nia. BOW.
*Lastly, the hugs and kisses we shared before finally saying goodbye to each other.: )
I am quite frustrated with myself because this entry doesn’t really give justice to all the smiles, sweat and laughs we had that whole 9 hours of adventure. Bwahahaha!
Next stop: Embassy..sana!:)
